Fractional Executive Search.

The right leader, for exactly as long as it matters.

Dutch companies have engaged interim managers for decades, so part-time senior leadership needs little explaining here. What we add is the search: a vetted operator matched to the moment your business is in, embedded under a services agreement between two companies, with the support and governance kept around the engagement.

We do not make an introduction and step away

Appoint one leader and the collective is there for second opinions. We keep structure and oversight around the engagement; the executive decides in their own area and owns the outcome, which is what separates an operator from an adviser.

An operator, not an adviserYour executive sits within the team, and is measured by what the business gains rather than the documents delivered. In an owner-run company, where the director and the shareholder are the same person, they are also the second pair of eyes the business rarely has.
A collective behind one appointmentBehind each engagement is our collective of 800+, with leaders in finance, operations, technology and people to draw on. That matters for a manufacturer in the south or east that has outgrown its management team and cannot find the next layer nearby.

Where we are brought in

A leader for the moment in front of you

Most engagements begin with a moment: a departure to cover, a raise to close, a market to enter, a business to turn around. Find the one that fits.

The Netherlands commercial case

Senior leadership, without the permanent cost

You engage us company to company and pay for the days the work needs, much as Dutch businesses already engage interim managers. A permanent senior hire in the Netherlands is slow and costly to end; between two companies the arrangement is commercial, with one month's notice as our standard.

Brief a search
01

No permanent headcount

The engagement is a company-to-company contract. No salary on the payroll and no headcount to carry.

02

No benefits burden

No medical cover, no benefits administration, none of the overhead a permanent hire brings.

03

No recruitment cost

No search fees and no onboarding lag. Your leader is matched from a vetted collective and embeds within weeks.

04

One month's notice

Scale the engagement up or down, or step away, on one month. You keep the optionality.

05

Business to business

A company-to-company arrangement, invoiced cleanly. Senior leadership without the employment.

How an engagement works

From the moment to the match, in weeks

Name the seat that needs leadership and we handle the search. The first conversation does most of the work, and it tends to be a direct one. State the problem plainly, and we will do the same about who fits.

01

Tell us the moment

Share where you need leadership: a finance lead departing, a raise ahead, operations outgrowing the founder.

02

A working conversation

We talk through the brief and sharpen the requirement together, so the match is right.

03

The match

We search our collective of 800+ curated and vetted executives for the closest fit, and you choose.

04

Deployment

Your leader embeds within weeks, holds the decisions in their domain, and gets to work.

Common questions

The questions founders ask first

A senior C-suite leader who embeds directly into your business on a part-time or retained basis. They do not just advise. They hold the decisions in their domain and stay accountable to the outcomes, without the cost of a full-time hire.

Engagements are business to business and typically run six to twenty-four months. Start with one leader or a micro-team, and scale either way on one month's notice as your priorities shift.

A consultant advises and steps away. A fractional executive embeds and executes. We provide the support, structure and governance that keep the engagement working; the executive owns the outcomes.

Our engagements typically run 30 to 60% less than a comparable full-time executive appointment. You pay for the seniority and the time you need, not idle headcount, and there are no recruitment fees, benefits or severance costs.

The home of fractional leadership.

Name the gap: the owner-run business its founders have outgrown, the scale-up building its first real finance function, the Dutch operation of an international group. We will find an executive in our collective of 800+ within weeks, engaged company to company rather than on a permanent contract, with one month's notice as our standard.
